HYPNOSIS OVERVIEW: Your brain as you probably already know is the command center that has the power to create everything that happens to you in life in every way. There is sufficient research today to know that in many cases, the original cause of the problem is no longer of any great consequence. Habits cannot be easily changed by years of merely rehashing the trauma of younger years. In fact because what we focus tends to expand, the more we focus on old negative programming the longer we retain the old messages. And… The behavior or self defeating symptom becomes a habit. This can be overcome simply and easily through hypnosis. We each have two main areas of our minds. The conscious area which represents 10% of our thought process and the subconscious or unconscious representing 90% of our brainpower. Just imagine how powerful that 90% is that carries all the messages from birth to present day. Most of these messages have been programmed by our primary caregivers, teachers and the world around us. Often we are living our lives based on other people’s thoughts, dreams and ideas about what we should, must or have to do. If you are using this for smoking cessation; in preparation, make sure that you no longer have any cigarettes lying around, spray your home with an air freshener and make sure the clothes you wear on a regular basis have been cleaned so that old smell of cigarettes is not lingering. If possible, stay away from smoky environments for at least 21 days. Use chewing gum as a substitute when necessary and if it makes it even easier it’s OK to use the medical patch while releasing this addiction.
